I really appreciated how they keep the menu simple and easy to understand, which is a blessing for anyone overwhelmed by complicated spa options. From head to toe treatments, they have it all, including a unique digital detox massage designed to release tension from your neck, shoulders, forearms, and hands, perfect for all of us who always get glued to our devices!
The Space
The vibe at this massage place in Canggu is instantly calming and inviting. As soon as you step inside, a fresh, soothing scent welcomes you. I absolutely loved the cocoon-shaped lamps in each massage room. They give off such a cozy, comfy vibe, like the room is saying, “Stay a while, you deserve it.”
The massage rooms have calming indigo blue walls, while the outside area is painted a warm, soft white that adds to the inviting atmosphere. The lounge area looks sleek and luxurious, with three spacious, comfy chairs that make the massage treatment a pleasure. Everything here feels clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed to help guests relax and just feel good, a hallmark of a quality massage place in Canggu!
The Treatment
During the consultation, I explained that I spend most of my time working at a computer from 9 to 5, so my back and shoulders often carry a lot of tension. She listened attentively, confirmed my preferences for pressure (medium to firm), and suggested adding more focus on my upper body to help release stiffness. We also discussed the oils, and I chose a woody essential oil blend for its grounding, calming effects. It felt reassuring to know my treatment would be completely tailored to how my body was feeling that day. For my session, I took the Foot Ritual followed by the Kokoon Signature Massage.
Right from the start, the therapist checked my preferred pressure and any areas to avoid, showing real attention to detail. Throughout the massage, they maintained consistent pressure, adjusting based on my feedback.
The massage expertly combined traditional Balinese techniques with modern touches like a warm pad on my shoulders and belly. Nothing felt rushed; the therapist took their time, making sure I felt fully relaxed. Knowing that the therapists are trained by a professional from Switzerland only added to my confidence in their skill and care. Plus, the in-house Lavender and Woody essential oils smelled fantastic, rounding out the experience at this massage place in Canggu.
The Result
Before the massage, my shoulders were aching, my back was tight, and I was bracing myself for the “battle” of long-haul flights ahead. After spending hours at the computer and with travel coming up, I was basically a walking knot, so yeah! A massage was absolutely essential before the craziness kicked in. As a lover of high-pressure massages, this one was spot on: firm enough to melt away stubborn knots, yet still soothing. The cooling face mist at the end was the perfect touch. I took some time to reflect and absorb the experience while enjoying a soothing hot tea (by the way, the soothing hot tea comes with a cute surprise you’ll have to see for yourself!). Honestly, just like their concept, a cocoon (which you can also see in the lamp shapes of their massage rooms). I walked out as a butterfly, feeling fresher, recharged, calm, and ready to start my day again, this time with way more ease!

Absolutely! The quality of the massage, the professional yet friendly staff, and the affordable pricing make Ooma Wellness Habitat a fantastic choice. Their prices range from IDR 75k to IDR 600k, which is very reasonable considering the high quality of service you get, from head to toe! It’s great to find a place that offers excellent massages without breaking the bank. I also love that I can just jump in because it’s just a short walk from Echo Beach. Whether you’re in need of a quick foot ritual or a full body treatment, Ooma feels like the kind of spot you’ll want to keep coming back to again and again.
